My Opinion: The Remastered version is a bit worse. Why? I will explain. 1. The perspective shift. Everyone here says that the perspective shift is GREAT, but in my opinion, it's what ruins the song. The idea itself is good, but it was executed poorly. Instead of looking like they're in a different angle, it looks like their limbs grew **abnormally** large or small, while boyfriend, instead of looking like his same self (but in another angle) looks more like he grew taller and changed his body proportions. I think this can be improved if you try to see which angle you can make the sprites look better in. The camera is supposed to be at an angle, so it would be better to make Whitty and Boyfriend not look like they're still facing the screen, but more like they're facing each other, to make their sprites still look ALOT like they do originally (non angled), but at the same time make them face each other and look like they're turned. The music? In my opinion, it's a tie. The instrumental is perfect like always, but the vocals? The vocals are... decent. I actually like the chorus and echo they produce, but in my opinion, I like the older vocals more. Why? Because they were rougher. The new Whitty sometimes goes "TI TYUU" while in the original, he'd produce something similar to "TO TA." He also sounded way more aggressive, as if not only is he in pain, but as if he was genuinely ANGRY. And Boyfriend? His final note in the old version sounded way more dead, as if it was so symbolize whitty's last moments before being infected. What can be done to make this perfect? 1. Either remaster the angled events completely or remove them. 2. To tinker around with the vocals (For example, try to make whitty sound angrier like he was in the original, and to have less soft notes, also to give boyfriend more "dead" notes again, that could significantly improve this.) The chorus? Honestly the vocals having a chorus makes this much better. This is outstanding! But in my opinion, it needs a few changes to be made perfect.
